Why Kitchen 919?
When we found an opportunity to build our new restaurant in the old Orangery building we set out to create an upscale environment. After thinking about it for some time, we thought about the places that make us feel most at home. Places we are comfortable. Places that we spend time with our friends. The place you do that most often tends to be the kitchen. It’s where we make great food, spend time with family and friends. It’s the central location of our home lives. Instead of building just another upscale eatery we set out to create a place you can go not just for a special occasion, but for any occasion.
Book Your Event
We have three event spaces to suit any need. The Phoenix Room, The Paisley Suite and the Parker Room. The facility is on the 2nd floor and will bring back memories of the original event space. We’ve updated, upgraded, refined and redesigned the space to be one of Knoxville’s finest destinations for events.

Hand Crafted Menus
Our menus are crafted and updated regularly using as much local product as possible. We’re use Cruze Farm for our dairy products, Shelton Farms for our cornmeal and grits, several Benton’s products, and Springer Mountain or Joyce Farms for our chicken. The Kitchen 919 atmosphere pairs well with the menu. Our food is very, very refined- and so is the decor. Join us for a more upscale experience.
